Heacham Minors are introducing football for 18month olds up to 4 year olds.
First and foremost, we want it to be a lot of fun. What child doesn’t enjoy playing with a ball, after all? And if your child is having fun, then they will learn more effectively.
We want to teach football in a fun, pressure-free environment.
We want to provide children with a positive introduction to football, so they are more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives.
We believe football can be educational. Coached in the right way it can stimulate imagination and aid early development skills, such as learning colours and numbers, following guidance, and playing as a team.
By developing a range of skills.
For example, children can develop their fine motor skills.
Involves learning a lot of techniques that can help balance and control, such as dribbling, stopovers, passing the ball to one another, turning with the ball and of course shooting and scoring lots of goals!
More than that, the kinds of games that are a typical feature of football training can help improve skills like, for instance, numeracy and colour recognition.
And even better, the engaging environment promoted by toddlers’ football classes can really boost those all-important social skills too as your child gets to know their team-mates and the coaches. They will learn how to work as part of a team towards a common goal, such as passing the ball to others or winning a game. Achieving a lot of these benefits, though, depends on picking the right football classes for toddlers.
Our sessions will run every Tuesday afternoon 3pm-4pm at Heacham Football Ground, 13 station road Heacham. £2.50 per session, first session free!
